MontrealCanadian.com is an independent guide to visiting Montreal and getting to know the city: where to stay, how the neighbourhoods fit together, what to eat and how to get around.
Who runs it
MontrealCanadian.com is an independent site with two editors. Greg Parsons, a Toronto-based publisher who runs a portfolio of travel and reference sites, publishes and edits it. Caleb Parsons (Student at Brock University) also edits it. Caleb checks pages against official sources, fixes errors and updates the dates you see at the top of each guide.
How guides are checked
Details that change, like Metro hours, the airport bus, market hours and attraction tickets, are checked against official sources such as the STM, the REM, Marchés publics de Montréal and the attractions' own sites. Each guide links to those sources, and the sources page lists the ones we use most. We don’t publish prices we can’t verify, and we leave out claims we can’t check.
What the guides are, and aren’t
They’re planning guides built from official and published sources. They aren’t personal trip reports, and nobody here is presented as a local expert or a licensed guide.
